February 2010 Outlier Technologies, Inc. receives GSA Contract Award
Outlier Technologies, Inc. (OTI), a premier provider of information technology solutions to commercial and government inspection professionals internationally, has been awarded a five-year United States General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract (GS-35F-0261W). The contract is also referred to as an IT Schedule 70 Award, and will become effective March 1, 2010. Under the GSA Schedule, governmental agencies will be able to order SansWrite software and other services directly from OTI or through the GSA Advantage online shopping and ordering system.

"OTI is proud to join the GSA in its commitment to provide government purchasers with a way to acquire products and systems without incurring the excess cost of soliciting bids," said OTI Chief Operating Officer Jeff Scheeler. "The GSA Award application process, which took more than nine months to work through, included evaluation of our professional capabilities, past performance, and customer satisfaction, as well as a detailed review of the company's finances."

October 2009 Outlier Technologies, Inc. (formerly MAP Software) delivers SansWrite system to Guam
Outlier Technologies, Inc. (OTI), a premier provider of information technology solutions to commercial and government inspection professionals internationally, recently expanded its product use overseas to the Office of the Education Suruhanu in Hagatna, Guam. The Guam Department of Education purchased and is in the process of incorporating SansWrite Mobile Inspection Technology for the use of monitoring inspections within their public school system. The Guam Department of Education is a single unified school district serving over 30,000 students.

According to OTI Chief Operating Officer Jeff Scheeler, "The overseas market is just starting to notice the unique capabilities of SansWrite. We are excited about the opportunity to work with the Guam school system and look forward to focusing additional resources on markets outside the United States in the future."

September 2009 Outlier Technologies, Inc. (formerly MAP Software) Awarded Contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare's Adult Residential Licensing Program
Outlier Technologies, Inc. According to their 2008 Annual Report, The Department of Public Welfare's Adult Residential Licensing program protects the health, safety and welfare of more than 50,000 vulnerable adults who reside in personal care homes, through the application and enforcement of state licensing regulations.

MAP Software (MAP), a premier provider of information technology solutions to commercial and government inspection professionals nationwide, announced it has been awarded a contract to automate inspection checklists for the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy.

"This is an exciting project for MAP Software," said Mary Ann Ferrigan Project Manager for MAP Software, Inc. "The inspection checklists are similar to those that we've automated in the past; however, the amount of time an inspector spends at each site is considerably less. The greatest obstacle to overcome is creating an automated inspection checklist that actually improves productivity."

Development will begin in November with implementation scheduled for February of 2006.

MAP Software (MAP), a premier provider of information technology solutions to commercial and government inspection professionals nationwide, announces SansWrite Version 5.2.

"The Version 5.2 product combines the Client, Middleware and Web Portal into a single fully integrated solution," said Kevin Kroner, Lead Programmer for MAP Software, Inc. "The ability for customers to install, configure and manage the software is unlike any other product."

SansWrite Version 5.2 Standard and Professional Edition will begin shipping on December 1, with the Version 5.2 Enterprise Edition scheduled for February of 2006.

MAP Software (MAP), a premier provider of information technology solutions to commercial and government inspection professionals nationwide, announced it has been awarded a contract to automate Type B and Type B Limited inspections for the Cuyahoga County Department of Job & Family Services.

Cuyahoga County is one of more than 25 Ohio Counties that uses SansWrite for Type B and Type B Limited Inspections. Development will begin in September with implementation scheduled for January of 2006.

"The greatest challenge with this project is to integrate SansWrite with the Department's existing Imaging System, "said Jason Meyers Project Manager for MAP Software, Inc. "Unlike other projects, SansWrite will export inspections to a Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) rather than PDF."

MAP Software (MAP), a premier provider of information technology solutions to commercial and government inspection professionals nationwide, announced it has been awarded a contract to further enhance the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning's child care licensing information system.

With the initial SansWrite Client and Web Portal software in place, the Department has elected to continue development of the Information System. This second phase of Development will primarily involve enhancements to the Web Portal for Criminal Records Checks, Application Processing, Adverse Action Dispositions, Illegal Operations and Informal Providers.

MAP Software (MAP), a premier provider of information technology solutions to commercial and government inspection professionals nationwide, announced it has signed a contract extension with the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services for the continued development and maintenance of its child care licensing information system.

The Ohio Department of Job & Family Services (formerly the Ohio Department of Human Services) was the first state to use portable computers for collecting inspection data on-site. Enhancements to the information system for fiscal year '05 and '06 include the development of an automated Employee Record Chart and public access to inspections on-line in a PDF format.

MAP Software (MAP), a premier provider of information technology solutions to commercial and government inspection professionals nationwide, announced it has won a contract with the Utah Department of Health.

After a successful 3 month pilot, the Department selected SansWrite to integrate with its existing information system. The Department currently uses SAS to maintain child care provider and inspection data in the office, but has no means for collecting data in the field. Using SansWrite, DOH Child Care Licensing staff will enter inspection findings on-site and transfer those findings into SAS via the Internet.

"By streamlining the data entry process, SansWrite will help the Utah Department of Health improve quality, increase productivity and reduce operating expenses," said Mark Parker, President of MAP Software, Inc.

This initial contract will involve automating inspection checklists for the Department's Sanitation Inspectors statewide and to determine the feasibility of expanding the information system to the Department's Child Care Licensing Inspectors.

December 2004 MAP Software, Inc. (now known as Outlier Technologies, Inc.) Signs a Contract with the Florida Department of Children & Families
MAP Software (MAP), a premier provider of information technology solutions to commercial and government inspection professionals nationwide, announced it has signed a contract to maintain and enhance the Florida Department of Children & Families Child Care Licensing Inspection System (CCLIS).

The Florida Department of Children & Families initially purchased SansWrite in May of 2001 for 130 of its Child Care Licensing staff. In June of 2002, the information system was rolled out to more than 250 Child Care Licensing staff statewide including 7 local licensing agencies.

In May of this year, the Office of School Readiness and the Department of Human Resources merged into a single Department. MAP Software has provided SansWrite to the Office of School Readiness since 2000. As a result of its success, SansWrite was selected as the foundation for the new information system.

Development of the new information system is expected to take several months. The first phase of development will include the automation of checklists for Child Care Facility, Group Home and Family Day Care Home Inspections. Delivery of the first phase is expected in November of this year.
